&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;Surala&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039; is a village in Chikti Block of [[Ganjam district]], [[Odisha]], India at [[Andhra Pradesh]]-Odisha border on [[National Highway 5 (India)(old numbering)|National Highway 5]]. On the other side of the Andhra-Odisha border on NH-5 is the [[Ichchapuram]] municipality. There is a railway station named Surla Road near to village Surla on [[Howrah-Chennai main line]]. There&amp;#039;s Primary Health Center just outside the village.&lt;br /&gt;

The [[Surla Road railway station]] is adjacent to a small mountain called [[Govardhangiri]] which is around 8km from the main village.&lt;br /&gt;

Sunapur (literally &amp;quot;golden village&amp;quot;, in [[Oriya language|Oriya]], the local language) is a small village of fishermen is one mile from Surala village. [[Bahuda River|Bahuda]], an ancient river, flows into the [[Bay of Bengal]] here. Visitors have to cross the mouth of the river to enjoy the vast golden sands of the quiet beach. Berhampur (now renamed &amp;#039;Brahmapur&amp;#039;) is the nearest city with fairly good facilities to stay is {{Convert|15|mi}} away. Taxi and Odisha state bus services are available from here to go to Surala and [[Sunapur]].&lt;br /&gt;
