Dr Suresh Sitaraman received his Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Mechanical Engineering from [[Regional Engineering College, Tiruchirappalli]] (now known as [[National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli]]) affiliated to [[University of Madras]] in 1982.
