Bhaiyyaji Joshi was born on 1 July 1947 in Indore. He got his early education at Indore, however, he moved to Thane for higher studies and earned his bachelor&amp;#039;s degree in arts. Bhaiyyaji Joshi became Pracharak of RSS in 1975. After 34 years of service, he was elected as Sarkaryavah (General Secretary) of RSS in 2009. Bhaiyyaji Joshi played an important role in the expansion of RSS in Uttar Pradesh and the North-eastern part of India. He stepped down in 2021 due to health reasons and was replaced by Dattatreya Hosabale as Sara-Kaaryavaaha. &amp;lt;ref name=step_down /&amp;gt; &lt;br /&gt;
