Surender Sharma was born into a [[Brahmin]] family in [[Haryana]]. He hails from a village [[Nangal Choudhary]] of [[Mahendragarh district]], [[Haryana]]. He holds a degree in Commerce from [[Shri Ram College of Commerce]] of [[Delhi University]].<ref name="0:1"/><br />
