It was launched as Marvel HQ on 20 January 2019, replacing the [[Disney XD (Indian TV channel)|Indian feed]] of [[Disney XD]], and was later rebranded to Super Hungama on 1 March 2022, after several delays. Other predecessors of this channel date to 2004.

==History==
In December 2004, [[The Walt Disney Company]] launched two television channels in India—[[Disney Channel (Indian TV channel)|Disney Channel]] and [[Toon Disney]]—as a part of expanding their South Asian market. Both channels broadcast in English, Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu. At launch, the main Marvel programming would consist of four animated shows<ref name="bmi" /> and 40 percent of the total schedule,<ref name="x4m" /> with additional Marvel animated series added or seasons started in March 2019. However, over time, other non-Marvel animated series were added, including ''[[Pokémon (anime)|Pokémon]]'' and ''[[Beyblade]]''.<ref name="bmi" />
