She currently writes a column for the [http://www.saharatime.com/ Sahara Time], an English language weekly published from [[New Delhi]]. She has been active in the women's movement and has worked with women's groups across the country. Her report, "A Situational Analysis of Women and Girls in the National Capital Territory of Delhi" was published by the National Commission for Women (2005).<br />

She has served as secretary of the [[Delhi Union of Journalists]] in 2008, in 2009 she served as the treasurer and secretary, and in 2010 she went on to become the first woman president of the [[Delhi Union of Journalists]].<br />
