Sujapur is located at {{Coord|24.9095|N|88.0868|E|}} [[Malda district]], [[West Bengal]]. It has an average elevation of 17&amp;amp;nbsp;metres (56&amp;amp;nbsp;feet). It is on the western bank of the river [[river Bhagirathi (old)]]. As in much of Bengal, the weather is usually extremely humid and tropical. Temperatures can reach as high as 46&amp;amp;nbsp;°C during the day in May and June and fall as low as 4&amp;amp;nbsp;°C overnight in December and January.&lt;br /&gt;
