==History==
It was founded by the [[Sisters of Charity of Saints Bartolomea Capitanio and Vincenza Gerosa (SCCG)|Sisters of Charity of St. Bartolomea Capitanio and St. Vincenza Gerosa]] in 1959 for the [[women's education|education of women]].

The [[college]] derives its inspiration from the teachings of [[Jesus Christ]], who is its "norm, protector, and guide". == Dress code controversy ==
In August 2019, a new college rule that aimed to regulate the dress code of female students at the college disallowing sleeveless clothing, shorts and ''[[Kurta#Kurti|kurtis]]'' which were above knee length was introduced. Following this in September, girl students were subjected to a measurement check before they could enter the college campus.
