After working on many movies as an assistant director, Sreekanth directed his first movie ''[[Kotha Bangaru Lokam]]'' with [[Varun Sandesh]] and [[Shweta Prasad|Shweta Basu Prasad]]. The movie was well received and was declared one of the biggest hits of the year 2008. His second project ''[[Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu]]'' released in 2013. ''[[Mukunda]]'', released on 24 December 2014. His latest release, ''[[Brahmotsavam (film)|Brahmotsavam]]'', released on 20 May 2016.

==Career==
Addala also worked as an associate director for several Telugu movies. He worked as an assistant director for the movie ''[[Arya (2004 film)|Arya]]'' in 2004. His association with film producer Dil Raju began with that movie. Dil raju was impressed with Sreekanth and gave him an advance of {{INR}}9000 and told him to come up with a story. Impressed by Sreekanth's work ethic, Dil Raju also asked him to work for ''Bommarilu''. He took a three months gap after ''Bommarillu'' and came up with the story of ''Kotha Bangaru Lokam''.
