The main idol in this temple is Lord [[Shiva]] which was consecrated by [[Narayana Guru]] himself in the [[Malayalam]] month of Chingam in the year 1092. There are sub-shrines for [[Parvathi]], [[Ganapathi]], [[Murugan]] [[Ayyappan]], [[Navagrahas]] and [[serpent deities]] here.
