It has become known{{cn|date=June 2016}} for its in-depth features, sport-specific analytical studies, and its annual list of the World's 50 Most Marketable Athletes, published each May.

== History ==
''SportsPro'' was founded by journalist and publisher [[Tom Rubython]] in 2008 to replace ''[[BusinessF1]]'', Rubython's previous magazine. This transformed the publication into a business title that covered the entire sports industry as opposed to just Formula 1. The magazine was sold to London-based Henley Media Group in February 2009.<ref>{{cite web|url=http://www.henleymediagroup.com/portfolio/sportspro_media/ |title=SportsPro Media |publisher=Henley Media Group |access-date=28 August 2012}}</ref>
