Joseph completed her studies in painting from Faculty of Fine Arts [[Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda]] in 1998. Previously, she had earned a Diploma in Painting from [[Raja Ravi Varma College of Fine Arts]], [[Mavelikara]] Kerala in 1996.
