== Reception ==<br />
A critic from ''[[Deccan Herald]]'' opined that "But unlike other streotyped. mushy romances and action flicks, ''Snehitulu'', which has its anchor in human relationships, emerges a winner, for it is shot imaginatively".<ref name="D">{{Cite news |last=P |first=Rakesh |date=14 February 1999 |title=Snehitulu (Telugu) |work=[[Deccan Herald]] |url=http://www.cscsarchive.org/MediaArchive/art.nsf/(docid)/6DAFFE93F21EFCB765256941003DC8B0 |url-status=dead |access-date=25 March 2022 |archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20090213235753/http://www.cscsarchive.org/MediaArchive/art.nsf/(docid)/6DAFFE93F21EFCB765256941003DC8B0 |archive-date=13 February 2009}}</ref> A critic from ''Andhra Today'' wrote that "Although a routine story, Posani Krishna Murali lends it variety in its final twist. Good performances by the star cast combined with the director's prowess quite appeal to the audience".<ref>{{Cite web|url=http://www.andhratoday.com/movie/SNEHIT.htm|title=SNEHITHULU|work=Andhra Today|archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/19981202200652/http://www.andhratoday.com/movie/SNEHIT.htm|archive-date=2 December 1998}}</ref><br />
