Shrawan Kumar is the younger brother of [[Gopal Prasad]], a professor of mathematics at the [[University of Michigan]], and the elder brother of [[Dipendra Prasad]], a professor of mathematics at the [[Tata Institute of Fundamental Research]].<br />
