Shraddha Jadhav (aged 45 on 2 December 2009) originally hails from [[Sangameshwar]] in the [[Konkan]] region of Maharashtra.<ref name="ht"/> She is a commerce graduate.<ref name = "DNA"/> Shraddha is married to Sridhar Jadhav and has two sons, Pawan (aged 25 on 2 December 2009) and Govind Sagar (aged 16 on 2 December 2009).<ref name=ht/> She is a resident of [[Parel]].<ref name=ht/> Her father-in-law Mukund Jadhav, a former independent corporator, was also her political mentor.<ref name=ht/> Her family runs Manohar decorators and a travel agency, which is run by her husband. She is one of the richest corporators in the BMC elected in 2007.<ref name=ht/>
