==Reception==
Karthik Pasupulate of ''[[The Times of India]]'' opined that "It seems like a B-Grade action film from the nineties and everything looks too outdated. There are too many loopholes in the script and the execution so analysis into what all went wrong will be a waste of time".<ref>{{Cite web |last=Pasupulate |first=Karthik |date=24 January 2013 |title=Shatruvu Movie Review by The Times of India |url=https://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/entertainment/telugu/movie-reviews/shatruvu/movie-review/18169037.cms |url-status=live |archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20151021042935/http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/entertainment/telugu/movie-reviews/Shatruvu/movie-review/18169037.cms |archive-date=21 October 2015 |access-date=31 May 2022 |website=The Times of India}}</ref> A critic from ''[[Mallemala Entertainments|123telugu]]'' gave the film a rating of 1 out of 5. The critic called the film outdated and said that Srikanth should not do such films.<ref>{{Cite web |date=24 January 2013 |title=సమీక్ష : శత్రువు – కాలం చెల్లిన కథ |trans-title=Review: Satruvu - Outdated story |url=https://www.123telugu.com/telugu/reviews/review-shatruvu-an-old-story.html |url-status=live |archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20180323060343/http://www.123telugu.com/telugu/reviews/review-shatruvu-an-old-story.html |archive-date=23 March 2018 |access-date=31 May 2022 |website=123telugu |language=te}}</ref>
