'''Shamshi''' is a village in the [[Kullu district]] of [[Himachal Pradesh]], India. It is known for hosting several governmental and industrial establishments of the Kullu district.

== Geography ==
Besides, this gazetteer also notes that there was a government-aided school at Shamshi.<ref>{{Cite book |url=https://archive.org/details/dli.csl.2896/page/n69/mode/2up?q=shamshi |title=Punjab District Gazetteers, Kangra District, 1917 |publication-date=1917 |pages=61, 178 |publisher=Lahore, Superintendent, Government Printing }}</ref>
