&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;Sawānih-i-Deccan&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039; (&amp;#039;&amp;#039;News of Deccan&amp;#039;&amp;#039;) was a work compiled by Munim Khan al-Hamdani al-Aurangabadi in 1197 A.H. (1782 A.D.).&amp;lt;ref&amp;gt;{{cite web|url=https://books.google.com/books?id=2O07AQAAIAAJ|title=Journal: Humanities. Section A., Volumes 33-36|publisher=University of Madras|year=1961|page=141}}&amp;lt;/ref&amp;gt; It is an unpublished manuscript&amp;lt;ref&amp;gt;{{cite web|url=https://books.google.com/books?id=2O07AQAAIAAJ|title=A Thousand Laurels--Dr. Sadiq Naqvi: Studies on Medieval India with Special Reference to Deccan, Volume 2|publisher=Felicitation Committee, Department of History &amp;amp; Department of Ancient Indian History, Culture &amp;amp; Archaeology, Osmania University|year=2005|page=588}}&amp;lt;/ref&amp;gt; in [[Persian language|Persian]] and gives statistics of revenue accounts of the six [[Subah|subas]] of the [[Deccan]] with a historical account of the [[Asaf Jahis]] or Nizams of [[Hyderabad]]. Munim Khan was a military commander during the regime of [[Asaf Jah II]]. This work gave more insight about the regime of Asaf Jahis between 1724 A.D. and 1783 A.D.&amp;lt;ref&amp;gt;{{cite book|url=https://books.google.com/books?id=DfNLEAAAQBAJ|title=Handbook of Research on the Role of Libraries, Archives, and Museums in Achieving Civic Engagement and Social Justice in Smart Cities|author=Taher Mohamed|publisher=IGI Global|year=2021|page=110|isbn=9781799883654 }}&amp;lt;/ref&amp;gt; It also describes the administrative divisions and revenue of the Mughal Deccan during the last years of Aurangzeb&amp;#039;s regime.&amp;lt;ref name=&amp;quot;DawoodAshraf&amp;quot;/&amp;gt; A detailed list of Sarkars, Mahals (Parganas) and Villages along with their revenue was mentioned.&lt;br /&gt;

The two manuscript copies of this work are preserved in Hyderabad.
