He is elected to [[Jharkhand Legislative Assembly|Jharkhand assembly]] in [[2014 Jharkhand Legislative Assembly election|December 2014]] from [[Jamshedpur West (Vidhan Sabha constituency)|Jamshedpur-West constituency]] for the second time after defeating his nearest rival [[Banna Gupta]] by a margin of over 10,000 votes.<br />
