== College of Architecture & Interior Design(COAID)==
The New English School trust, Vasad was running school and an Industrial Training Institute at Vasad. In the year 1996 Shri Shivabhai Patel and Shri Chandubhai Patel conceived an idea of establishing a degree engineering college at Vasad to promote technical education. The New English School trust decided to establish a Self-financed Degree Engineering College with the support of eminent people in this field.

The New English School Trust (NEST) decided to name the college as the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Institute of Technology (SVIT) as a tribute to [[Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel]] who hailed from this area.

The Trust formed the Board of Management for the college as per guidelines of All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). The Board of Management consisted of the technocrats, the educationalists, the industrialists, the social workers, the business magnets of Vasad and Shri. Shivabhai Patel who had a rich experience of managing co-operative organization.

College of Architecture, SVIT, Vasad was established by The New English School Trust (NEST), Vasad in 2000. College of Architecture is approved by Council of Architecture, Delhi.
