==Early life and background==
Sanjoy Nag was born and brought up in [[Kolkata]]. He completed his schooling from St James’ School. He pursued commerce from University of Calcutta. He conceptualized the album ''Priyo Bondhu'' with [[Anjan Dutt]] and Nima Rahman.
