== Professional contribution ==
Kalra has established Bharti Hospital, Karnal, which provides clinical care, research, training, and education in endocrinology. He also serves as an Executive Editor, Thyroid Research and Practice, and Associate Editor, Diabetic Medicine Editor, Diabetic Medicine (UK).
