Saloli was a Jagir of Kalyanot/Kalyanwat Rajputs&amp;lt;ref&amp;gt;{{cite web|url=http://www.indianrajputs.com/history/kachwaha.php|title=History of Kachwahas|work=Rajput Provinces of India|accessdate=7 July 2016}}&amp;lt;/ref&amp;gt; (One of the 12 Royal Kacchawaha Chambers/12 Kotharis of House of Amber). Kalyanot is a sub clan of Rajawat clan of Kachawaha Suryavanshi lineage. The Jagir was granted to Thakur Guard Singh Kalyanot, one of the descendants of King [[Prithviraj Singh I|Prithviraj of Amber]]. The Jagir was granted from Thikana Bhavgarh, near Sikandra (Rajasthan).&lt;br /&gt;
