== Early life ==&lt;br /&gt;
Pujya Sadguruji was born in [[Sircaim|Sirciam]] [[North Goa district|North Goa]] and was attracted to [[meditation]] and [[Spirituality|spirtuality]] from childhood. He displayed various qualities by the age of seven. He could play the [[Pump organ|Harmonium]], read, and recite the [[Bhagavad Gita|Bhagwad Geeta]] with confidence. When in school, he was attracted to asceticism and aspired for a life of &amp;#039;[[Dhyana in Hinduism|dhyan]]&amp;#039;, &amp;#039;[[Sādhanā|sadhana]]&amp;#039;, and &amp;#039;[[Tapas (Indian religions)|tapasya]]&amp;#039;. Finally, he left home and adopted the life of an ascetic, dedicated to studying and practicing rigorous spiritual paths.&lt;br /&gt;
