''Chenab'' was sold in 1930 to the [[Khedivial Mail S.S. Company|Khedivial Mail Line]] of [[Alexandria]], and in 1931 resold to the ''Cie de Navigation Libano-Syrienne'' of [[Beirut]] and renamed ''Ville de Beyrouth''.
