S. A. Devshah was [[Member of the Legislative Assembly (India)|Member of the Legislative Assembly]] from [[Boath (Assembly constituency)|Boath constituency]] {{ref|Boath|[note]}} for two straight terms. He was a member of the [[Indian National Congress]] political party.
