Gajendra Prasad Singh of RJD defeated Ashok Kumar of [[Janata Dal (United)|JD(U)]] in [[Bihar Assembly Election, Oct 2005|October 2005]] and [[Bihar Assembly Election, Feb 2005|February 2005]].
