==Background==
Born in [[Pune]] to the North Indian parents in a Punjabi family, he did his schooling in [[Ludhiana]] at B.C.M. Arya Model School,<ref name=rohit/> and graduated in Mechanical Engineering from Nagpur University at Raisoni College of Engineering and then joined [[Infosys]]. Rohit begin his acting career with a corporate short film.
