This is one of the four major villages which are part of this [[Gram panchayat]]. The other three villages are [[Thumbavi]], [[Saidabad]] and [[Gundlabavi]]. Majority of the population in this village follows hinduism. Gowds are the dominant community of this village. Reddibavi was part of [[princely state]] of [[Hyderabad]] until 17 September 1948. Later [[Hyderabad State]] was merged with [[Andhra State]] on 1 November 1956 to form the state of Andhra Pradesh.<br />
