After school in Nagpur, Siras studied [[psychology]] and [[linguistics]] at [[Nagpur University]] in India. In 1985 he got his [[PhD|doctorate]] in [[Marathi language|Marathi]] and a [[Master&amp;#039;s degree|master&amp;#039;s]] in psychology.
