In August 2020, Thakur started to play the female lead role of Preeti Jhindal in [[Star Plus]]‘s [[Shaadi Mubarak]] opposite [[Manav Gohil]]. She quit the show in October due to hectic schedule. In replacement, [[Rati Pandey]] took the role.
