She died in May 2014. Numerous dignitaries attended her last rites including [[L. K. Advani|L K Advani]], [[Rajnath Singh]], [[Sushma Swaraj]], [[Arun Jaitley]], [[Ravi Shankar Prasad]] and [[Jyotiraditya Scindia]]. [[RSS pracharak]] [[Ram Lal|Ramlal]] was also present.
