Tarara started his journey in politics with [[Seventeenth Legislative Assembly of Uttar Pradesh|17th Legislative Assembly of Uttar Pradesh (2017) elections]], he got ticket by [[Bharatiya Janata Party]] from [[Dhanaura (Assembly constituency)]].
