The [[tehsil]] headquarter is in Rohama town. It is located to the north of Baramulla, about 12&amp;amp;nbsp;km from the district headquarters, and 70&amp;amp;nbsp;km from the state capital [[Srinagar]] to the west. The headquarters of Rafiabad Assembly Constituency is in Rohama town.&lt;br /&gt;

Rohama is surrounded by Watergam tehsil, Dangiwacha tehsil, Baramulla tehsil, and [[Sopore|Sopore tehsil]]. People of the town are mainly dependent on agriculture and horticulture. There are nearly 40 government offices, an ITI{{Definition needed|date=July 2021}} and a sub-district hospital. There are three public-sector bank branches in the village: the Jammu and Kashmir bank, State bank of India and J&amp;amp;K Grameen Bank. Rohama town is in a small valley surrounded by small mountain peaks. There are many tourist attractions, including Bosnian (famous potato farm), Viji Top, Gabwar, Khahmoha (helipad), Kokarwan, Saterwan and a famous [[Gurdwara|gurudwara]] (Tapyana sahib Shalkote, where Sikhs from all over India visit).&lt;br /&gt;
