Chatterjee has five siblings: Anjali Mukherjee (sister), Shibani Bhattacharya (sister), Kalyani Banerjee (sister), Subhasendu Chatterjee (brother), and Amalendu Chatterjee (brother).&lt;br /&gt;

Chatterjee was a [[Research Associate|research associate]] at the [[Stanford Research Institute]] from 1974 to 1976.
