== Early life ==
Preeti hails from a lower-middle-class family in Itarsi in [[Narmadapuram District|Narmadapuram district]] of [[Madhya Pradesh]]. Her mother Jyotsna Rajak is a social worker while her father runs a dry-cleaning shop in Itarsi.
