From 1975, he played junior-level ice hockey for the [[Kitchener Rangers]], [[Windsor Spitfires]], [[Royal York Royals]] and [[Toronto Nationals (ice hockey)|Toronto Nationals]], as well as the Erie Blades and the Crowtree Chiefs.<ref name="hockeydb.com"/>
