== Controversy ==<br />
The school was in the news when its director was arrested by police and found guilty of raping a student. In Nov/Dec 2011, charge sheets were filed after a delay of 18 months.<ref>{{Cite web |url=http://www.hyderabaddailynews.com/2011/12/23/charge-sheet-on-ayub-of-parkwood-school-international-in-rape-case-filed-after-18-months-hyderabad-daily-news-com/ |title=Archived copy |access-date=12 January 2012 |archive-date=4 March 2016 |archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20160304044433/http://www.hyderabaddailynews.com/2011/12/23/charge-sheet-on-ayub-of-parkwood-school-international-in-rape-case-filed-after-18-months-hyderabad-daily-news-com/ |url-status=dead }}</ref><br />
<br />
The school has been stripped of its recognition by CBSE because of the gross violations of the norms.<ref>{{cite web |url=http://www.deccanchronicle.com/channels/cities/hyderabad/cbse-scraps-affiliation-parkwood-school-634 |title=CBSE scraps affiliation of Parkwood School |website=[[Deccan Chronicle]] |url-status=dead |archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20110318115412/http://www.deccanchronicle.com/channels/cities/hyderabad/cbse-scraps-affiliation-parkwood-school-634 |archive-date=2011-03-18}}</ref><br />
