Princess Nirjara came in the Kurukshetra War, but finally fought with Dushasana, which has a context about her in the Stri Parva. Shanti Parva mentions her emotions like a warrior. Infact, she was a warrior, and she adopted the title "Maharathi", in which she was later known as Maharathi Nirjara (meaning warrior Nirjara). She was the princess of Dholakpura, which is mentioned in the Mahabharata also. As a warrior, she pierced a arrow in Dushasana's neck but finally he marries her in the Hastinapura, which has the information about Dushasana's marriage in the Shanti Parva. Nirjara was also a short tempered woman who later resulted in the marriage of Kaurava Dushasana and later became his wife. They later have a son named Duryodhana (not to be confused with the Kaurava Duryodhana) and a daughter named Sirat.

Story of the Shanti Parva
Finally, Suddenly, a beautiful princess named Nirjara appears in the Bharatayuddha, in which every warrior is shocked to see a woman in the war. In that war,Duryodhana, Vikarna, Jalagandha and many Kauravas were present. Firstly, Nirjara challenged Karna to fight with her but Karna is shooted with Nirjara's arrows.
Nirjara's offspring
Nirjara and Dushasana had a son named Duryodhana and a daughter named Sirat. She later married Laxman Kumara.
