Nandhaur Wildlife Sanctuary lies between the Gola and [[Sharda River]]s in the [[Haldwani]] forest division and links the forests of [[Ramnagar, Nainital|Ramnagar]] and Terai central forest division with [[Shuklaphanta National Park]] in Nepal.<ref name=Irengbam2017/> It extends over an area of {{convert|269.96|km2|abbr=on}}.
