He was appointed General Secretary of the B.P.C.C. in 1982 and worked with late Shri Dumer Lal Baitha during the tenure of his Presidency. In 1991 he was appointed president of the D.C.C Kishanganj. He was appointed and worked as Chairman of Bihar State Panchayat Finance Corporation in 1981 to 1989. He was appointed Chairman for five years of Bihar State Electricity Advisory Board Purnia Circle in 1972 Also elected Hon. Joint Secretary and Director of the Purnia District. Central Co- operative Bank Ltd. Purnia several times between 1969 and 1995. Also appointed Vice-Chairman of the District Board, Purnia Bihar 1974. He died on 25 October 2013.
