It was at NSD that she met her husband, actor, politician [[Raj Babbar]]. They have a son, [[Arya Babbar]], an actor in [[Hindi]] cinema, and a daughter [[Juhi Babbar]], a fashion designer who also acts and designs costumes for Nadira's plays.
