Mulangunnathukavu railway station is operated by the [[Chennai]]-headquartered [[Southern Railway zone|Southern Railways]] of the [[Indian Railways]]. The station is used as shuttle station for [[Thrissur railway station]] that is {{convert|10|km|mi}} south. It is just {{convert|250|m|ft}} away from [[State Highway 22 (Kerala)]]. Ticketing is computerized and there are also basic parking facilities on site.
