The area lies north of the [[Chenab River]] in [[Lahaul]] district, [[India]].&lt;br /&gt;
Mahindra is near the Dali Glacier (formerly known as the Thunder Glacier), on the east side of the Miyar valley, in the second side valley when approaching from the north.&lt;br /&gt;
