==Political career==
Fareeduddin was a [[Member of the Legislative Assembly (India)|Member of the Legislative Assembly]] (MLA) for [[Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly|Andhra Pradesh]] for ten years to 2009. He began his political career as a surpunch of chota hyderabad and hoti B in zaheerabad mandal, representing the [[Zahirabad (SC) (Assembly constituency)|Zahirabad constituency]] as an [[Indian National Congress]] (INC) politician. In the [[2009 Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly election|2009 elections]], the constituency, which had elected INC members in all but one of the elections since 1957, became [[Reservation in India|reserved]] for candidates from the [[Scheduled Castes]] and his party preferred to put [[J. Geeta Reddy]] forward as their candidate. Therefore, Fareeduddin instead contested the [[Amberpet (Assembly constituency)|Amberpet constituency]], where he lost to [[G.
