Started in 1993, it is one of the first men&amp;#039;s organisation in the country to work on preventing [[Violence against women in India|violence against women]].&lt;br /&gt;

Men Against Violence and Abuse (MAVA) started out with an advertisement posted by a journalist, C.Y.
