One of the science payloads under development is an [[ionosphere]] [[Plasma (physics)|plasma]] instrument named ARIS. It is being developed by Space Satellite Systems and Payloads Centre (SSPACE), which is part of the [[Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology]] (IIST).
