After taking Surendra Sinha's dead body far away from his mansion in his car and throwing it off inside the gutter, Narendra Sinha faked Surendra Sinha's kidnapping and announced the reward money in an attempt to cover up his crime.

			Upon learning this, Michael sets up the meeting point of an abandoned, ramshackle wooden cottage by the riverside in the hills of [[Maharashtra]] to settle the issue. Before the meeting, Michael visits Ravi's house to find out the reason behind his unusual actions, where he comes to terms with humanity instead on noticing Ravi's sister, Renu, lament Ravi's tragic separation from them and promises to bring back the smiles of the family. At the meeting point, Ravi and Neela meet up with Michael to learn the identity of the murderer, but are later horrified to witness Narendra Sinha shooting Michael fatally in the stomach thrice. Nevertheless, the grievously injured and slowly dying Michael holds Narendra Sinha at gunpoint downright and confesses about his crime to Ravi, who immediately leaves Neela to hold the fort and drives desperately to bring a doctor back in time. While on his way back with a doctor, Ravi also leads Kulkarni and the police to the scene and meets with Narendra Sinha in a clash while Michael is attended by Neela, the doctor and the police.
