Madani led a march of 10,313 protesters to the [[7, Lok Kalyan Marg|Prime Minister's House]] on 15 October 2002 to protest against communal violence as well as to demand rights, safeguards and democracy for the Muslim community. During the [[Nandigram violence|Nandigram movement]] against [[Government of West Bengal|West Bengal Government]]'s plan to create a Special Economic Zone (SEZ) in [[Nandigram]], Madani was active as a leader of the Ganaunnayan Janadhikar Sangram Committee, an alliance of 22 peoples' organisations including the JUH, National Alliance of People's Movements and Hindu Muslim Friendship group.<ref>{{cite news |title='Buddhadeb is against farmers and the poor' |url=https://www.rediff.com/news/2007/mar/21inter.htm |access-date=28 May 2021 |work=Rediff |date=21 March 2007}}</ref> JUH launched a major Anti-Terrorism movement in 2008, in which Madani played the most crucial role. He asked Darul Uloom Deoband for its guidance on terrorism, and the seminary issued a [[Fatwa]] terming any form of terrorism anti-Islamic and condemning the attempts to project Islam as a terrorist religion. In the wake of [[2010 Kashmir unrest|unrest in Kashmir in 2010]], Madani, through the JUH, organized a Kashmir Conference in Deoband and Delhi. The conference in Deoband was organized on 4 October 2010, with the clerics and the conference in Delhi was organized on 31 October, with clerics, legal experts and activists. An eleven-point resolution of demands to the Government of India was passed in both conferences. Kashmir's integrity with India was reiterated. Madani directed intense criticism towards the [[Samajwadi Party|Samajwadi]] government in [[Uttar Pradesh|U.P.]] and the [[Indian National Congress|Congress]] government in Rajasthan in the wake of the riots in [[2013 Muzaffarnagar riots|Muzaffarnagar]] and Rajasthan. He compared the number of riots in these states with those in Gujarat. He wrote a letter to the Prime Minister demanding the dismissal of U.P. In December 2013, Madani organized an international World Peace Conference at Deoband and Delhi, with around 200 Islamic scholars and religious leaders from Maldives, Britain, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Nepal, Bangladesh and Myanmar. The conference was a conclusive part of the Silk Letter Movement Centenary Celebrations. In July 2018, Madani, under the banner of [[Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind|Jamiat]], launched Jamiat Youth Club for the mental and physical training of youths in 16 districts of 5 states, as per the framework of [[The Bharat Scouts and Guides|Bharat Scout And Guide]]. Following the [[Revocation of the special status of Jammu and Kashmir|abrogation of Article 370]] on 5 August 2019 and the lockdown in Kashmir, Jamiat convened a consultative meeting of all leading Muslim organizations and leaders in August 2019, where Madani co-sponsored a unanimous resolution of Muslim organizations. The resolution supported the integrity and stability of the nation.
