== Life sketch ==&lt;br /&gt;
Mundathu Gupthan Sasibhooshan is the son of [[S. Guptan Nair]], one of the noted critics in [[Malayalam literature|Malayalam Literature]].&amp;lt;ref&amp;gt;{{Citation|title=S. Guptan Nair|date=2020-01-16|url=https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=S._Guptan_Nair&amp;amp;oldid=936102865|work=Wikipedia|language=en|access-date=2020-01-21}}&amp;lt;/ref&amp;gt;{{circular-inline|date=March 2021}} He started his career as a sub-editor for [[Malayala Manorama]] and [[Mathrubhumi]] newspapers and then went on to teach for 18 years at the [[University of Kerala]] in [[Thiruvananthapuram]]. He was part of the executive committee for the [[Kerala Sahithya Akademi]], [[Kerala Kalamandalam|Kerala Kala Mandalam]] and the [[The Numismatic Society of India|Numismatic Society of India]]. Under deputation, he also held the office of Director at State Literacy Mission Kerala for a brief period. He was instrumental in setting up the Institute of Mural Painting in [[Guruvayur|Guruvayoor]], established to foster the temple art.
